The Industry Training Authority has a mandate to improve the quality and availability of industry training in B.C. – and to ensure program outcomes are well-aligned with ever-changing industry and marketplace needs. This includes working with industry to update existing programs and develop new ones where required.
Industry Leadership
The ITA is also working to put industry in a leadership role, with responsibility for defining and managing its training needs on a sector by sector basis. This is being done through the establishment of Industry Training Organizations.
