Pumpkin Fun Run, October 11, 2009

     

Online registration will close at Midnight on October 7th, 2009. Register at Peninsula Runners after October 7.

Not another t-shirt!    A great opportunity to make room for turkey dinner!

Date:         October 11, 2009

Venue:       Aldor Acres, Langley BC

Race:         6  km race

Time:         9 am start

Entry Fee:    $20 until October 1, 2009. $25 after October 1.
                    Register early. Limited race day entry, space permitting.

Registration Package pick up will also be at Peninsula Runners on:
                    
     Friday, October 9, 10 - 6 pm
     Saturday, October 10, 10 - 6pm
                                     
All finishers receive post race refreshments, a chance to win great prizes and complimentary race-day admission to Aldor Acres which includes hay rides, activities and a visit to the famous pumpkin patch. All finishers pick their own pumpkin from the patch.

Free and convenient parking. Washroom facilities available.

Sponsored by RTO (Resource Training Organization), Peninsula Runners and Aldor Acres.

Proceeds from the race goes towards scholarships for students of SD#35 pursuing trade apprenticeship training.

*Runners families can visit Aldor Acres too. Admission fees $6 per person (except registered runners) plus pumpkins which are sold by size (generally between $5 and $8 each).
